Scuderia Scale Bodies

Scuderia Scale was a very early body manufacturer - and although they didn't seem to survive past 1965, they contributed to the development of the pro-racing slot car by just being there and catering to the "Dawn of Time" scratch builders...

Damn it Mr.Gluebomb!!!!
My profuse drooling over the Maserati bird cage clone, AKA Chaparral, shorted out my phone!!!!
Seriously, thanks!!! Now I have a(nother) legitimate reason to stay up at night. Besides Benny Hill and, doing my math homework, thanks Dave C.
[I Sincerely thank both of you, it's what makes SB the best] .
One thing (of many) that puzzles me is:
It's ok to have a hard body in 1/32 but, it seems (to me) that 1/24 should be vacuum/blow formed or it's just not a slot car. Go ahead, I paid my health insurance.

Considering that slot racing in both scales started with styrene (or variants thereof), I can't condemn hard body racing. I did some wing car racing in the late 1980's and early 1990's, but I can't say I enjoyed it as much as the (semi) scale C-2 and Eurosport classes. At that time I pushed a manufacturer (what you can do for me?) to produce scale-proportioned vac bodies to go along with his line of bodies designed for the 3 1/4 inch wide chassis being used. He was already making stamped steel chassis to fit his sprint car bodies, it wouldn't be a big deal to modify those to fit scale proportioned bodies. Just couldn't get the support from the other racers I had hoped for.
