Welcome to the Independent Scratchbuilder on Slotblog!

Migration from the old ISB site is essentially complete, and updates of the content are underway. Much of the new information for those updates, such as photos, scans and obscure tidbits of information, comes directly from Slotblog users.

However, it has become clear that for users, submitting that information is nowhere near as easy as it could or should be.

Toward that end, Greg Wells and I have decided to try opening the forums for input from everyone (and see what happens).

We are attempting to strike a balance between ease of input and the need for this "library" of information to remain orderly enough to be used effectively.  So, there must be a few basic ground-rules:

1) Existing topics always begin with the subject article.  If you have information (photos, scans, facts, etc.) that you want added to, changed in, or deleted from the subject article in an exisitng topic, post it in that topic as a reply.  If the information is accurate and appropriate, it will soon be incorporated into the subject article with full credit given to the contributor (you).

2) If you wish to start a new topic, please be sure you do it in the appropriate sub-forum. When enough accurate and appropriate information collects in that new topic, I will create a subject article with full credit given to the contributor(s).  If there is no appropriate subforum for your new topic, contact me via PM or email about creating one.

3) If you have a general question, suggestion, or comment about the Independent Scratchbuilder, post it here at the help desk.

The entire ISB subforum will be moderated on a regular basis for your viewing pleasure. Misplaced information will be moved to more appropriate topics or sub-forums. Off-topic and off-color or off-hand remarks or rants will either be moved to this help desk, the trash can, or be summarily deleted (this is a library).

Now, enjoy your library and go build something!

Tons of credit to YOU, Steve. I was looking at a genuine Steve Okeefe chassis that I keep under lock and key and remembered something you told me that helped pull me through some tough times. It was "The best things in life aren't things." Thanks, Steve O.  :thank_you2:
