Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Doesnt matter how well balanced the engine may be. A twisting force of accellerating a rotating mass will create an opposite force in the base which it is mounted.

Its a little more useless than my old friend's Crown Conversion small block Chevy Corvair back in the 70's!!!
Spanked a bunch of big block musclecars with it back then!!!!
Bet that "Fiat" makes life miserable for a bunch of Ferrari, and real lambo owners!!!

That bike wouldn't do 150mph if you dropped it down a mineshaft!!!

Paul,
That's probably beause V12 engines have about a good inherent balance as any engine configuration.
I know for years of experience that the v12 Jaguar engines don't moved when revved either...
That Fiat confirms again that there are some people with way too much money and time on their hands!
I hear what you are saying Greg, but I would have thought torque reaction had more to do with the mass and inertia of the rotating parts than engine balance.
I imagine a counter rotating shaft would help with the torque reaction
