Gary Hooks wins race 4 of the 2013 Bay Area FCR season.
Gary Hooks once again shows his bumper to take a decisive win of race 4 of the Bay Area FCR Championship season. Justin Colvin takes second place followed by Randy Tragni and Wolf Immel. Gary and Justin are now tied for 1st place. Randy and Wolf are tied for 2nd place.
Gary Hooks again walked away from the field with a total of 243 laps. He remains unbeatable. Congratulations to Gary for another strong drive.
The real race was a bit farther back in the pack.. Justin drove a strong race with 237 laps to take 2nd place. He also took fastest lap with 5.706 on blue. Garys personal fastest lap was a mere 0.001 seconds behind Justins.
The fight for the rest of the points was on between Randy and Wolf. These guys continue to be tied to each other! Randy made up 229 laps to Wolfs 227 laps. All pretty close at the end.
Next up was the mid-pack race that was taken by ex-champ Sam Rock (218 laps). Sam ran a clean race to take 5th. He was closely followed by Ray Villanova (6th with 215 laps), then Eric Jan (7th with 214 laps), and finally Durl Vance (making a guest appearance????) not having a good day with 207 laps.

The next race of the 2013 Bay Area Championship FCR Race will take place on Sunday, May 5th at 2PM at Eddies. Note, this is a week earlier than normal due to Mothers Day the next weekend.
