Hi Guys,

Due to the Memorial Day holiday falling on the last weekend of the month in May we are going to bump up the race by one week. So instead of it being May 26th we will race in Holly Hill on May 19th.

Ok, Grant and Tony, you guys are confusing me. (which isnt hard to do sometimes).

Race #1 was at the Viper Pit in January.

Race #2 was at riverview in February.

Race #3 is the upcoming one in melbounre (but Tony wrote it as race #2).

And now the race in Hiolly hill should be race #4 (but you called it race #3)

I am at an impass.

But whatever race number you call it, I will be there.

Grant and Tony, I just realized that the weekend of May 17/18/19 I am flying back to Canton Ohio to visit family who have recently had medical setbacks. So, looks like I will not be able to make the Holly Hill race on the 19th.

Bob, thanks for the sentiment. You know, stuff happens.  I am working on moving my family visit up one day. So we will see.  Maybe I will be a pest to you afterall. :)

Is anyone going to Hilly Hill tomorrow for practice?

BTW: I was able to move my trip up one day, so I should be able to make it.

Grant, that sounds real good, the latter the better. I will see you there and all the other GRRR guys.  I saw Terry there last Tuesday nite, he is coming; also I've talked to Dennis, he says he is coming.

Danny had a great day, easily taking the Can-Am and F1 victories.  Yes, he does not have to get any sleep to be dominant on his home track. Danny: congrats on your two victories!

Face it none of us old guys are ever going to beat him he drives that much better. Imagine if he had a killer car.  Finishing second to Danny any time is a win for me.

The stockcar that I won with was the same car I used to win at Melbourne, same motor, same chassis, and same gears. The only change was that the Dodge body seemed to be about 0.02sec quickler than the Ford Fairlane body that I used on Bill's 43ft oval. Very surprising that I could go from Bills 43ft oval and still be fastest on Gregs 110ft oval with the same car except the body.

First, thanks to Grant for the results.

Good to see Ed and Jim were there but how come they didn't race Stock Car with ya'll?

Doc, you have a VG car and a great little power plant. It is amazing that you were that fast at Greg's without a gear change.

So is Bill's track 43ft on black? It is listed as 65ft.

I like that track a lot and the close side by side racing we have.... Ran 1.96 last night with a 165.2 gram FCR Dirt Late Model. Held up as fast lap for a while till Matt Bowman ripped off a 1.91 near the end.  At some points in the race we were 3 and 4 wide banging doors for laps. :D
