Justin Colvin wins race 5 of the 2013 Bay Area FCR season.
In the closest race and finish in Bay Area FCR memory, Justin Colvin took the win of race 5 of the Bay Area Championship season. Wolf Immel took a very close second place (10 feet back) followed by Randy Tragni (20 feet back). In final position, Justins car had just passed the timer and finished with 229 laps. Wolfs car was about to go into the bank when the power went out, He finished with 228 laps. Randys car was heading for the lead-on to the straight and he finished with 228 laps. Wow, what an exciting conclusion to a tight race.
Justin also took fastest lap with 5.9291 on yellow. Wolf took 2nd fastest lap at 5.9293 on white with Randys fastest lap at 5.9805 on black!
Farther back in the pack.. Sam drove a strong race to finish 4th with 220 laps
He was followed by Ray Villanova (5th with 216 laps), then Eric Jan (6th with 214 laps).
Also in the fray where Tyler Colvin (younger brother of Justin), Floyd Todd and Uncle Gary Hoehn. Time to fix that gear Uncle G!

Points Correction: A protest was filed for the race that took place in March. Apparent the final order was mixed between finishers. By mutual agreement, Ray moves ahead 1 point while Sam loses a point. The correction is incorporated below.
Points are awarded to the first six finishers:
10 points for first place, 8 points for second, 6 points for third, 4 points for fourth, 2 points for fifth, 1 points for sixth.
