Nice looking car!
I use to really like our D3 racing but it didn't seem to last very long, still have my car though.
What chassis are you guys using these days?

Hi Jeff--
This car has a very simple Plumber style chassis under it. I'll take some pics tomorrow and post them. You can also check some of Keith's builds that he has posted. He's the master builder for this hard body racing!!! I've just copied his original designs.
Check out the cars in D3 Hard Body racing!

Thanks for the information & the link Tim.
Looking forward to seeing a picture of the chassis.
It’s been probably 5 or 6 years ago now but we had a fun time on Tuesday evenings running the 4.5” D3 stock cars with a ProSlot 4000 or 4001 motor, I can’t remember. Mine has a JK stainless 4.5” sidewinder chassis and I think almost everyone was running the same chassis at that time. My car handled really good and I got a number of race wins with it on the Punch Bowl track (pictured in my avatar). The body has seen better days though, Spoiler broke off AGAIN, the whole section in front of the hood is about to go. Hummm… guess I need to do some repairs on this guy.
The other car we ran same night was a fun one also. It’s an inline setup with the adjustable length H & R chassis set to 4” and using a .040” thick rental car body, so pretty much indestructible, although some people did find ways.

Lose?? Lose??? I'm not planning on losing to ANY monkey!!
Hoho Thanks Keith---are we going to race this month?? Maybe we could go over to Todd's "Cave" raceway and have a race!! I'd love to check out his track---I think they have an opening race on the 17th? Maybe we could race the hardbodies on Sunday after that. We could check with Todd---I know Phil Nyland wants to join us in the hardbody class's--he's going to start some cars. I can loan him some until he has his own.
Cool cars Jeff--- my chassis is the same design as Keith's Oldsmobile!! Check it out in the link I posted!! He has better pics than I know how to do!!
