Another great day at the cave.We had our first Retro F1 and Can-Am race which was a blast with plenty to learn moving forward. Jim Fowler was in town from the Tahoe area. Gary Donahoe and Bryan Warmack were in attendance as well. Jay Henry made the drive up from the San Diego area. Dale Yamashita and his son Chris stopped in to check out the action as well with Dale stating he is back this summer for some action on the Beast.

"THe Cave" has definitely become the "PREMIER" flat track in the OC!! Very fun day--- congrats to the "Cave Crew" that have made this a fun race "club"!!  CYA again soon!!

       Absolutely awesome track!!  Once the word gets out I can easily see MAJOR National or World Flat Track races being held here. First class and kudos to Todd Flammer, Mike Kravitz, Mike Aguirre, Dennis Samson and anyone else involved in making it happen!........ I hated to unhook my controller.............

What a fun day and huge thanks to Todd, Mike, Tim and all those that made the "Cave" a reality. This is absolutely top notch from top to bottom and end to end. We all learned a lot about retro cars for this track today and it is a great venue for our cars. Dennis, Mike K and I ran some hot laps with 1/32's after the last race and they worked really well too. We had a special guest visit by Dale Yamashita today and he seemed fired up too. I was so geeked up that I drove all the way home to Tahoe in one go tonight.............'course maybe the IV drip of Red Bull was why I made it in one shot.....

Jim, great seeing you again. Yes the 32nd scale cars are great on the track. My son drove the tires off one on the opening night event and since ordered another one from Dennis Samson. Looking forward to adding those cars to the schedule.

 

I expect to see Red Bull sponsorship on your car next time too!!!

Dad it called slot car racing. Its not called fix my braid braid my car .Sorry it was my first time. And you know when you sit in the big chair in the sky looking down. Its like you are the big man . I think people slowed down a little  and kept the cars in the slot. and stopped trying to do a hair lap. Because it does not help .

                   i had a good time watching the drivers having to drive the car.And how good people are picking up the track . Great racing  no one yelling just some guys racing little car and having fun .
