A ten-lap spread, even closer than the twelve-lap spread in Can-Am.

I was really impressed that twelve different racers snagged the 16 A Main spots, in the two Tier 1 events.

It's the racers building some great cars and driving terrifically. Nice, tight racing guys!

To a large extent, I agree.
 
But what it has a lot to do with is the proper functioning of the organization, as my fellow BoD members will confirm is something they hear from me on a regular basis. Rules stability, communication, responsiveness, event support, publicity, racer recognition, etc. What else do racers really want?

And that is what makes Retro East so damn tough. The depth of good racers is tremendous. Even look at the qualifying times and how close they are.

All you need to do is look at other hobbies. See what they have done to achieve stability, visibility, and respect.
