Race 6 of the 2013 Bay Area FCR Championship at Eddie’s Slot Car World.
 
Gary Hooks wins race 6 of the 2013 Bay Area FCR season.
 
Gary Hooks took a decisive win for the 6th race of the Bay Area Championship season. Gary again walked away from the field early in the race and never looked back to finish with 242 laps and an unheard of fastest lap of 5.331 on red.
Wolf Immel took a strong second place with 233 laps followed by Justin Colvin in 3rd with 230 laps.
 
Farther back in the pack….. Randy Tragni was in 4th with 225 laps, followed by Ray Villanova (218 laps), Eric Jan (217 laps), Frank Rotgaber (213 laps), David Springer (209 laps), Richard Clark (208) and Sam Rock (205).
 
Special thoughts go out to Sunday Regular racer Uncle Gary Hoehn who is recovering from a recent illness. Hurry back Uncle G.
 
Thanks to race director Sue Villanova, as well as Mike Colvin, Eddie and Janet Wong and others for turn marshaling.
 
The next race of the 2013 Bay Area Championship FCR Race will take place on Sunday, July 14th at 2PM at Eddie’s.

Points are awarded to the first six finishers:
10 points for first place, 8 points for second, 6 points for third, 4 points for fourth, 2 points for fifth, 1 points for sixth.
 
The 2013 Bay Area FCR Championship points and position standings:
1st Justin Colvin with 46 points (+6)
2nd Gary Hooks with 40 points (+10)
3rd Wolf Immel with 38 points (+8),
4th Randy Tragni with 32 points (+4)
5th Sam Rock with 13 points (+nc)
6th Ray Villanova with 9 point (+2)
7th Frank Rotgaber with 4 points (+nc)
7th Eric Jan with 4 points (+1)
 
Also run, Outlaw FCR Nascar on the King. Outlaw FCR use the same 4.5 inch FCR chassis with a ProSlot sealed Chinese 16D motor.
Finishing order was: Randy (244 laps), Wolf (238 laps), David (221), Eric (221), Ray (217), Sam (216).
