I've searched but was unable to find an answer.  Can someone educate me please?

Thank you.

FC series have a plastic endbell with a huge diameter locating mount and their lead wires are on top of the motor.

FK have a steel endbell and terminals facing that endbell, and much small bearing housing serving as locating mount.

Many FC have no brushes, just wipers. All FK have real brushes.
