My friend, Bud Greene, sent me a pic of some Porsche bodies he painted.



I could have posted this in "The Paint Booth" but it's not really about the paint.
Bud is a very unique individual, tall as an oak and bald as a cueball on top.
Drives a fast Mustang with a stiff clutch. Watches videos going down the highway at 80 mph.
Lives on the outskirts of Mobile, Alabama
Bud is a master modeler, has been for years and years. The point at which he discovered slot cars was like a flash of lightning.
Once he started putting his paint skills to thin Lexan it was game on.
In a matter of months, he learned motors and chassis hanging out with local guys like World Champion Greg Gilbert and John Clow.
If this guy ever starts racing wing cars, look out. He has the skills.

I'm pretty sure he picked up some concours wins last weekend at the Heart of Dixie Retro race with some nicely-painted bodies.
