Starting a new forum for Retro Tokyo

During this period, our Retro racing program underwent a major change. Since January, 2013, we have become a member of IRRA racing groups, racing Can-Am and F1 monthly on the G13 Gerding King at Cheerio SpeedWay in Tokyo.
We follow the IRRA regulations but SCRRA cars are allowed to race without the IRRA minimum car weight requirement (100 grams for Can-Am and F1, ready to race) as long as they run with TSR-D3/Falcon 7 motors (no Puppy Dogs are allowed for SCRRA cars).
The missing race reports until now have been posted at our WEBSITE.
You are also very welcome at our Retro Tokyo Facebook page.
Good Retro Racing,
Haruki

I like the Lifeguard car, Haruki.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Thanks a lot for your warm words, Tom, Bill & John.
The last scheduled Tokyo D3 race in December(Race #12) was cancelled because of my health issue.
This year under the name of Retro Tokyo monthly races have been held every month since January.
Now we are going to have our Race #8 on August 25.
The race results and lots of pictures are posted at our web-site: retro-tokyo.com, but I will try to post here the race results and some highlight pictures with explanation from this month.
We have 20 racers who have raced at least one race since this January, with the average turn-out of around fifteen racers every month.
These numbers are good if we think of a couple of regular racers who have been absent for a long time because of their own or family issues.
If we had those regular racers, the turnout would be 18-20, we would have to run three mains both for Can-Am and F1.
From the coming race on August 25, two experienced racers, who used to race wing-cars with us around 20 years ago in Tokyo, will join our Retro Tokyo racing program.
Presently we have been racing Can-Am and F1, but hope we have a chance to race Stock Cars a couple of times a year.
Good Racing,
Haruki
