Thanks to Aaron with the Viper Pit Raceway for hosting this event at the nicest slot car track I have ever visited.
Also thanks to everyone who helped us along the way. Rick Crutchfield, Gil Gunderson, Jeff Nale, and Jerry Milliken from Central TN Raceway all helped tremendously in helping this inexperienced racer get his stuff tuned in for this event.
Also thanks to Ralph Thorne for the help leading up to the event and for giving my little man a T-shirt when we got there. He is now a RTR fan for life!
Also I want to say thanks to Danny Zona for working on my son's car during my son's main. My son was super excited to have the F1 winner making his car go super fast like Danny's.
Also, last but definitely not least, thanks to ALL of the drivers and corner workers in the D Main of the Can-Am. You guys were awesome and very patient with my seven-year-old son as he raced his first ever national event. I cannot tell you how much that meant to him and myself. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
We are already looking for the next big event to travel too. Hopefully the Retro South and GRRR can get together again soon! We will be there!

That determined look on the little guy's face shows he's in it to win it. He'll definitely be on the podium one of these days.

I love the group picture with Lil'Man in the front. He has, as the young guns say, swag. LOL.
I appreciate all the turn marshaling Lil'Man did for us in practice. He saved me and many others a lot of walking. Thank you much.
You're never fast enough!!! 💯
Preparation leads to separation.

Sounds like you and your son both had a great time. Love the focused look on the older gentleman racing next to your son on the left... "In the zone".

That's Jim Smith, from FL IIRC.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap
