If so what are your thoughts on it.
Thanks.

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

No, but I wouldn't mind having one... one of these days. I believe they ran them for a while at Buena Park a few years back.

I gave this car to a friend to do a report on Carrera sectional track but as of now I do not believe that they have had time to do the report.

Toni-Lee, I assume you know that the author of that 2011 entry at Slot Car News, MG Brown, is an active member here at Slotblog, so perhaps he will chime in with his current opinion.
No. I didn't know that, but a lot of people seem to visit this site so I knew someone would have some info on them.

Just looking for a low cost car that is easy to maintain and someone can buy off the shelf and go racing with. Have ruled out the AB, JK, and the International 32.
Is there anything else to consider?
Thanks.

Sorry. Just to add to the above. What is the Womp Womp chassis like to race with?

Toni-Lee,
Where, and on what sort of track, you will be racing is important in terms of trying to suggest a car for you.

Sorry. Wooden track. Using Turb0-Flex with Falcon motors (1/24) at the moment, but want to give the 1/32 a go. Just not sure what to use.

The basic TSRF kit is designed to outperform Carrera on magnetics. When PdL indrroduced these cars at the 2006 National event that I hosted at Raceworld/McHenry (Illinois), we ran them on wood - they really need heavier pans than the basic steel for great handling. The original batch used the TSRF motor equivelent to a Falcon 2. The 1/24 version will have much improved performance with the updated TSR or F7 equivalent motors (reverse rotation). I recommended the steel pans have an optional brass replacement set back then. If you look on the TSRF website or others, there are pictures of ballast shapes that fit the pans and work better on non-magnetic tracks.
As TSRF Illinois dealer #1, I still have some new kits to sell. Ramcatlarry@aol.com.
