How about the podium in pd all being 8 rail cars, while non of the podium FK cars were. Pair of Samson Classics though!
When we started Retroing, I designed a Chicagoland F1 chassis that Eddy Mac produced for me.
It was a 6 rail chassis with 3 - soldered .047" rails per side.
It ran well, but I guess I was 2 rails short. LOL

Below is the pic of that original C/R F1 chassis, which finished 3rd at the first Sano, raced by the late Bob Oaks.
Check out that turbine blade of a pinion on Bob's Proslot motor. It's got to be a 9 or a 10T.
On that same page I also stumbled across this line From Greg "Cheater" Wells;
