John and Gwens Buffalo Speedway was the site for the third race of the 2013-2014 TRRA series. Some of our regular racers could not make this event but those who did were treated to a great day of racing and some good eats as well. The racing action in both Nastruck and Retro Can Am was fun and close. John has built a beautiful 4-lane course that is fun and challenging.

Nastruck qualifying results (actually the fastest race lap as we skipped the qualifying session) were very close. John Myers TQd with an impressive 4.717 second lap. Ken Stevens was second fastest with a 4.864 hot lap with Moe Callison close behind with a 4.889 and David Berry clocking in at 4.941 seconds. We had two Concours awards. David Berrys entry won both Most Realistic and Best Appearing. When the final race results were tallied John Myers took the win with 292 laps, Ken Stevens placed second with 279 laps. Third place finisher David Berry raced to 276 lap total followed by Moe Callison with a well earnrd 267 laps. Good racing by all!

Retro Can Am followed the Nastruck race but not before we all chowed down on some of Gwens good cooking. Qualifying (fastest race lap again) was close. John Myers was top qualifier with a 4.792 fast lap. Moe Callison came very close to breaking 5 seconds managing 5.007 second fast time. David Berry (5.040), Ken Stevens (5.049) and Richard Hoffer (5.143) were not far off. Concours awards went to Moe Callison for Best Appearing and Ken Stevens entry won the Most Realistic category. The race went to John Myers who took top finish with 275 laps. Richard Hoffer ran a strong race winning second place with 260 laps. David Berry rounded out the podium finishing with 258 laps to claim third place. Moe and Ken were not far behind with 255 and 253 laps respectively.
