Just got in 100 of the new JK Retro Hawks. They will be the hand-out motors, can't wait to race them. :victory:

You will like them, they do not slow down late in the heat like a FK7 does, and the brakes do not go away either.

At the Sano these motors were great. JK did their homework. It will be interesting to see how they perform at the SpeedZone tracks where power hovers around 14 volts.

Probably nothing that can't be adjusted with a little more crown gear.

Instead of 9/29 or 8/26, guys might want to try 8/27 or 8/28.

With Retro East's plethora of accomplished racers, that are still able to run GTC-FK, I'm sure you guys will figure it out.

PS: I've mentioned it many times before, but C/R's King track power is 13.5v.

For reference, these have more timing than a TSR.

A better comparison for gearing would be a Falcon 7.

Yes, I know that Mike, but it does give a reference point.

Yes, I just wanted to make sure everyone else knew who might not be keeping up on all the latest Retro info.

A couple of Retro East racers have asked me if I would race at the coming Fall Brawl.

Unfortunately, I will not able to attend the great race.

Have a great time at SpeedZone!!

I will miss you all.

Good Racing,

Haruki :victory:

Remember F1 is .812" rear tire diameter and .050" rear clearance. This is a premier event so the .790"/.040" does not apply!
