In qualifying, Ron blew away the field, with a fine 4.018, well over .2 faster than John Austin in 3rd.

In the F1 B Main, Dave Geehring and Forest Hoover were the 2 apparent move-ups.

Dave declined to take his spot in the A Main.

J.P. also passed on it, Giving Ray a spot in the A Main.

In the A Main, it went pretty much like qualifying, with Ron taking the big 12 lap win over Rick Stagen.

Brian Meharry, the 4th qualifier, found a little bit more speed in the Main, edging out John Austin by 3 laps for the last podium spot, 5 laps behind Rick.

The A Main also featured probably the furthest combined distance ever traveled by 2 Retro cars, with Brian and myself, having some open wheel contact fun, in the Bank, with both cars surviving their 15-20 ft.(?) flight to the floor.

John and Jeff took the top 2 spots in the B Main.

In another case of the A Main, for some reason, not being a real desirable destination, John, Jeff and Dave all gave up their potential

"A" spots to Dennis and Mike Wurn.

Jeff was gracious enough to take over race direction duties.

In the A Main, Brian came out hard in the first heat, running just short of 45 laps, with Dustin hot on his heels, on Green.

Dustin hung with Brian for one more heat, but fell back when he hit Purple and Black.

After starting on White and Red, Ron battled back within a lap of Brian, but Brian pulled away the last heat to take the 3 lap win, with a big 346 laps.

Sano Dave, after starting on Red, quickly worked his way up to 3rd, where he stayed for the rest of the race, rounding out the podium.
