Not sure if this should be in general or for sale. I feel that it's more of a news item.

Enormous Slot Car Collection (Wooden Box, 5-6 cars, accessories)

BZIXnw7CcAECGAb.jpg-large.jpeg

"Some of the best built and running Retro Cars on the Eastern Coast of the United States. Chassis built by Tony P.....motors are either Pro-Slot or Evil Bucks Racers. Coupe's, F1 as well as Flexi Cars (highly modified), tons of tires, bodies, accessories, too many to list. These cars all hold Track Records and have won many races at the hands of National Champion Ernie Provetti. Come in a beautiful like new Brown Wooden Box with lock and key. This is a collection not to miss. Some of these items are unavailable to the normal public. Lot is sold "AS IS" with no returns. My local track closed so there is no more interest in racing like I was."

That's thirty minutes away. I'll be there in ten.

Ernie Provetti is auctioning these cars. I will ask him why he picked the category that he did for the auction.

Beautiful cars...  I know the brass ones are fast.

Good luck to Ernie with the auction.

Box looks more like a Gerstener. Any good toolmaker has one, they are the top of the line.

More likely an oriental knock-off than a Gerstener (although they now have an "International" series) - big clue: this box lacks the spring loaded sliding pins that secure the front panel on the real ones.
