King track SCRRA race this Saturday, November 23

This Saturday, at Buena Park Raceway, come join us on the Speed King Track of the West, the Buena Park King Track for Formula One and Can Am Racing

 

Doors open at 8 am, with tech for Formula 1 starting at around 10 am...

 

After the Formula 1 races, the usual lunch break followed by Can Am Racing in the afternoon....

 

Come try out your new rides to get them ready for the Checkpoint Cup in January.....

 

Remember, at the Checkpoint Cup, it will be hand out motors, so get those chassis sorted out as ther will be a few more races till the second weekend of January, but they come so quickly....

Thanks Mill, I would like to see what a regular/monthly retro race is like and get a little more practice with out all the pressure. I have a lot to do to get ready but plan on attending. See you this weekend.

John,

 

Pretty sure in F-1 it was Alex 1st, Jerry Johnson 2nd and Bryan 3rd. Can-Am was still going on when I left. Jay Henry made the move-up to A Main. Guys look like they're getting some rides and ideas ironed out before Jan.

           The King track races yesterday saw in F1, 1st  Alex Freund,  2nd Jerry Johnson,  3rd Bryan Warmack.  The Can Am results were, 1st  Duran Trujillo,  2nd  Don Campbell,  3rd  Jerry Johnson.

          Pics and more to follow in the race report up shortly........

     On another note here, the SCRRA and the racers decided that next month both SCRRA races will be held on the King track in preparation for the upcoming Parma Checkpoint Cup. Saturday Dec.14 and Dec. 28, both on the King. It was also decided, by popular demand! that the Retro 1/32nd race on Friday at the Checkpoint will be held on the newly refurbished Kingleman. More details to follow ASAP......... :)
