Just finished sloterizing this vintage MPC kit, starting with a brass Womp Womp and modifying to fit. Rewound 160 motor with #30 wire which worked out to about 10.6 ft. per pole. Driver started as Fujimi mechanic kit until I re-animated him.

 

Chassis is not my neatest work, but it worked great. Front wheels are independent by soldering a ring of 1/8" ID tubing over an axle, filing it down, then used a threaded end to attach and adjust kinda backwards.

Gary, as usual you make the coolest drivers. Super cool :victory:

 

Maybe you should ditch that Good Year logo and put Goodbury, Gateman & Graves on the side in Letraset. Anybody remember where that is from?

 

Just a suggestion, soldering irons work best when they are plugged in :laugh2:
