As mentioned earlier, Forest Hoover and his At the Track crew did an excellent job getting the ex-Lake Barrington Grandstand up and ready for IRRL race #4.
Despite the weather, we had a good turnout, with most of the IRRL regulars making it, along with Ron Hershman,
who dominated both races.
In the F1 race, Sano Dave took TQ honors with a 4.316.

In the race, Ron lead early, with Sano Dave sitting out the first heat and avoiding the carnage.
Dave came in and challenged Ron early, but Ron slowly pulled away to take the 8 lap win over Dave,
with myself taking 3rd.
The only late battle was Bernie holding off KVP for 5th.

In Can-Am, Ron easily took TQ honors with a 4.080.

In the race, in the B Main, Dave Geehring and John Miller both put down nice lap totals that
held up for 5th and 6th overall.
In the A Main, Ron got an early challenge from Dave and myself, but as he hit the faster lanes, he slowly pulled away, this time taking the win by 7 laps .
In one of the close battles of the race, Rick finished strong on Blue, getting by me by a lap, even though I ran perfect on Red.
Also in the "A", KVP held off Dennis for 7th.
