Now that is sweet!
A motor is only as fast as the chassis it's in.

Open wing. In glue I believe. You're definitely going to have to upgrade that Parma Turbo if you want to run one of these puppies. Open means no restriction on the motor. You're looking at sub 2 sec lap times.

Pat, I believe this is a USRA event. Not Retro by any means.

It's a wing car race (8 different classes), been happening every year for 24 years, this year it's extra special because Port Jeff is holding the 2014 Nats and this will be the first warmup race. Racers coming from all over the US, Brazil and Europe. Thank you Tracy "Mr. GoFast" for sponsoring OMO.

Hey Ya Awl,
The LIRR Retro Good Will Ambassador will try the amature class this weekend at PJ Raceway. Survival is paramount! For me a real steep learning curve.
Thanks,
Shakey George Blaha
P.S. Great Trophy and a great manufacturer of the finer selected slot car products

OMO?
One Motor Open Race
I've heard it explained as One Motor Only, as OMO can be used in classes other than Grp 7. (or Open).
Fantastic trophy, BTW.
