Gold Leaf Team Lotus-Ford 49 B and 49 C 1/20 plastic kits

 

 

 

1971 Tyrrell-Ford 002 and 003 1/20 plastic kits (delayed from 4Q 2013 due to tooling issues)

 

Both kits will feature pre-decorated tire sidewalls and large decal sheet with choice of numbers/drivers. No tobacco decals on the Lotus, but they are expected to be available from the aftermarket.

Preview of Avant Slot for 2014


 
Probably the biggest news from Avant is the "Avant Cars" line of resin-cast high detail slot models with a limited production of no more than 500 units each.

In the Avant Cars line, a series of F1 models are planned, starting with the 2012 HRT-Cosworth F112, the 1993 McLaren-Ford MP4/8 and the 1987 Williams-Honda FW11.



In the standard Avant Slot line, I feel the most interesting all new car would be the Jaguar XJ-220 shown above in the Martini and Rossi livery.

No release dates or prices have been given at this time.
