Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

Beautiful car, Niels. Impeccable workmanship.

I am also working on another Abarth, this is the actual Gunze plastic kit body which I am building for an old friend:
This is going to be the 1970 car on Danish GT champ Son Borch-Christensen - Martin, the son of Son (!) is a slot racer as well as a keen historic racer (1:1 scale).

I've always loved that Abarth! Beautiful build
I've been thinking about acquiring one of the Gunze kits. I'd love to see your lovely work progress on that one too

Hi Rick, those Gunze kits are very rare and not easy to find. That was the reason why I make Grp. kits of this and similar cars for our (hopefully) coming DSV-class. DSV is Danish touring cars from from the 1965-1971 period.
Tamiya makes the Alfa Romeo Junior GTA and the Mini Cooper, and NSU 1000TT, Ford Cortina and a few others are made in GRP by German guys, but other suitable cars for the class is harder to come by.
I therefore make and sell slot car body kits of The Abarth, Porsche 911S, Ford Escort Mk.I TC and the Saab 96. i also make some vacformed interior details and 13-15mm resin wheels inserts: https://picasaweb.go...etro124DSVParts

Sorry about the shameless advertizing here, but it is more about helping fellow hobbyist to get the parts, than makes a business out of it.
