Thanks to all the Sano racers

So I've been late in thanking all the racers who made the trip out to Chicago for the first of many annual Sano races. Everyone's great attitude lead to the most positive vibe I've ever experienced at a big race.
Thanks go out to the sponsors: Ron Hershman of O/S Bodies, Dave Gallagher of K&S Engineering, Joe "Noose" Neumeister, and Eddy MacDonald.
Special thanks to Greg "Cheater" Wells for his tireless "almost live" race coverage that was extremely instrumental in the success of the event and the future of Retro racing.
Last, but not least, Allan Reeder, for letting my fiancee, Jackie, secretly buy back the super-special Noose Sano body from him after he outbid me for it earlier. When I opened one of my birthday presents on this past Saturday and it was inside, I was speechless. I had no idea despite a small hint from Dennis Samson in of his post-Sano posts.

As I said before, the Sano was the best event I have ever attended. Enjoy the body!

In case we haven't said it enough, thanks again to you and Ray Price for a fantastic time.

Thanks running a great event, and all your hospitality. The ride in the "Cayman" was a real treat. Happy Birthday again.

I had a great time at a great track! I look forward to coming back and racing in this event for years to come.
Ray, is that "Cayman" as in Porsche?
Be Good,

If Ray's reference was in regards to Mike's ride, it's "Cayman" as in SVT Ford Focus...

Never forget that first place goes to the racer with the MOST laps, not the racer with the FASTEST lap

I leave further discussion on this matter for Mike to comment on.

Karen and I have held off getting a "fun" car until we move to Seattle, she is still lobbying for an Audi TT, my first choice is a vintage Porsche 356, but I'll take a Cayman.
Be good,

They were as cheap as advertised used '06s and 07s with 10K+ miles.
