Here is a link to The Raceway in Melbourne Florida where the event will take place on 5/19/14
The full $80 (16x5) entry fee will be to give to owner Bill Pinch for helping out and letting us have all the fun on his track.
I will cover for the trophy, pizza, soda ... etc.
First come first served ....
Guys who are interested in participating please 'sign up' in the Rods and Rails discussion thread before 3/15/14.
Those who have shown interest so far please confirm in the discussion thread or a PM to me:
To keep the policy clear and fair and the goal is to set the field of 16 cars with parity.
Alternates will be selected based on time of request to enter more than one car and the number of additional cars requested by any confirmed participant.
Based on the above there are 15 cars in the field.
Keep in mind it is first request/ first entered for the Back-Ups.
Example - David C. requested 2 adds and was first to do so but may only be able to add one additional car if the count gets to 16.
David C. would be the first back in the show with a 3rd entry as first alternate due to a 'No Show' because he was the first to request additional entries.

I want to congratulate David Cummerow on the Big Win with his ultra slick "Smokum" Rail Job
"Boxerdog" comes out alive and will hold the key to prove it.
Let's not forget that this race was to honor and celibrate all the contributions to our hobby by Gene Husting.
The man to be possibly "The Best" vintage drag racer/builder while that segment of the slot hobby was still in its infancy.
