Cordele Model Speedway was the host for round #2 on the Retro South racing schedule this year. This track always produces fun racing and it's easy to pick up for newer drivers. First I want to thank Bart Merriman who drove down from Tennessee for helping all day as the owner Eddie was under the weather. Eddie has since been to the doctor and is beginning to feel better! On the heels of our Southern snow and ice storm the turnout was a little light, but we had fun anyway!

In case you were not able to make it, it was voted to run F1 after Can Am for the rest of the year. This was done in hopes of people being able to take their tires from the Can Am cars and putting them on their F1's and running them. So, the running order for the remainder of the year will be as follows: Stock Car, Can Am and Formula One.

Stock Car Results

John Martin 229    *BLT 5.9293 New track record

Jay Guard 222

Tommy Flythe 221

John Forrester 189

I must be imagining things...

Ralph's F1 isn't pink?

Otherwise, great racing, guys. Looks like the track must have been really fast for all those records to fall one-by-one.
