Can-Am - 55 entries.

They are currently qualifying.

Steve Koepp is the early man on the pole, followed by yesterday's GTC-FK winner, Al Rutti.

After the first wave of 28 drivers are done, and I've ordered by breakfast from Steak 'n Shake, Steve Koepp (4.723) is still on the pole followed by the rest of yesterday's GTC-FK podium, Eric Gehrken and Al Rutti.

Cap Henry takes the pole again with a 4.621, .008 faster than his TQ time yesterday in GTC-PD.

Special congrats to Mike McMasters on qualifying into the B race with a nice 4.767.

It looks like one seven-man heat race to start, followed by six eight-man races to see what 16 racers will move into the Semis.

Shoot, Mike McMasters is moving the program along so quickly I missed getting a screenshot of the qualifying order while taking pics of the Mac award being announced. And the qualifying results don't appear in the stats being saved.

Oh, well, you can infer the qualifying order from the orange-headed column of the quarterfinal race results posts.

Edit: John Miller posted a cellphone pic of the first 22 qualifiers for Can-Am at the R4/7 on Facebook and I snagged it. Here's the pic:

The racers with the top eight lap totals are being divided into two eight man Semis using odd and even selection. The top four finishers in each Semi will then populate an eight-man Main.

Bob,

I hope the video feed was working during this final, as it was a hell of race. The lead changed 8-10 times during the last heat and who was going take the win was in doubt until the last few seconds.
