The award itself, which Mike upgraded to a much nicer presentation piece this year.
Matt saying a few words to the R4 attendees. He was clearly so touched by the honor that he had a little difficulty in doing so, which made it evident to everyone present that the correct honoree had been selected.

Well-deserved. Mr. Bruce is a class act!
I think you meant to say "Mr. Retro is a class act".
Matt is Retro racing at it's finest. Great competitor, nice guy, family man that brings the whole family with him. He gets the spirit of Retro.
Think what it's going to be like in a couple of years when Ryan gets "really, really" good.

Just one example of why:
While watching the R4/7 racing on the webcam I saw Greg VP pull out with car trouble. Immediately Matt offered to fix the car so he could get back in. Unfortunately it was a no-go.
He had done the same for me after I had declared my car DOA after a hard crash. He fixed the car and I was good to go for the next heat. A real class act.
Thanks Matt

It is an honor to be teamed up with you racing Retro. You are truly an inspiration to be around. Your son is one very special young man also; you and Sharon have raised him well.
