I am looking for a specific heat-sink for resistor controllers. I have never known who made this unit. When I got it from John Ford 20 years ago, he said it was no longer made... I was just wondering if anybody had one, or if a repro of this unit was being made.

Wish I could see it better...
Flat screen wouldn't power up this morning and my temp CRT monitor setup is on the 'total fritz'.
I'll come back ...

Hard to find and not being reproduced.
I too keep my eyes open for them on ebay.
Gorski used them on his controllers btw.

I used two of them on a twin-micro controller I built in the early 70's. I don't recall where I got them or who made them. I have pieces to build a second micro, less the Russkit 'R' handles. I don't know what I'll use for a heat sink on it.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

Looks like a "Green" heat sink, PdL would know for sure.

The Parma controller had these very heatsinks on it.

The first photo looks like a modified nut and the second looks like a gas model airplane cylinder head....make it ugly enough to impress the kids....

Well, I know a machinist who also has a slotcar track or 2... so I may talk to him about making some of these. They would be great for Turbos...

Just as a point of interest, If there was a limited edition reproduction of this heat sink made, would any of you be interested in purchasing one???
