Let's see if there is any interest in showing some paint jobs on the small HO scale cars.

Please feel free to add any pictures that you may have of 'HO Paint'.

To start it off, here is a Dirt Track stock car I did many years ago.

This is all hand-painted - no decals - and done on the inside of the body.

Here is a shot of the front.

A few years ago, somebody from, I think the Chicago area, had a few old hand-painted HO bodies posted on here. I forget who it was, but they were very well-detailed. Bob, I'm not involved in HO but I'd love seeing more of you work. Do you airbrush HO bodies today? Show some of them, if you do.

Here is a bit more in HO, a Porsche 962 concourse car from a few years ago.

Danny O 962 mirror side.JPG

The stripes, 'Interscope', numbers and body lines are all hand-painted on the inside.  The smaller sponsors logos are decals because you can get

nice ones from Pattos, so I save myself that time now that I can.

Danny O 962 front.JPG

A bit of a 'play' on the iconic black Interscope paint scheme, although the ill-fated Interscope Porsche Indy car that was regulated out before it ever raced, was

a white car with the colored stripes.

I do some air-brush bodies, but nothing that note worthy yet. Mainly for sale as race bodies.  I am very intrigued with some of the 1/24th paint

by the masters like 'Noose.

I just bought a new air-brush that I hope to be able to do some interesting work with, it I can find the time and talent to do it in HO.  Lots of motors to wind right now ;)

That Interscope car has phenomenal detail for something about 2" long

Here is an older Porsche 935 done up in the 'proper' Interscope colors.

Interscope 935 right front.JPG

Since this was done many years ago, all of the paint and lettering is done by hand - no decals on this body.

Here is a shot with the interior removed.

I'm not sure if the roll-cage was body class correct - but it probably got some Concours points.

Here are some air brush jobs on some H.O. Race bodies.  The close up of the Corvette D.P. has a little bit of hand painting to make them think twice about crashing.

It has only taken me a few years to get back to this.  I've been busy with body production and winding arms.

I finally took the time to get the airbrush out again and paint up a few more HO bodies.

Sharp looking bodies Bob! Did you make the flame masks or are they something that's commercially available?
