Congratulations to all the racers. Especially the class winners. It was a great season with close competition and good sportsmanship. We are already looking forward to the next season when we will expand to 6 races (best 4 of 6) with only minor tweaks to our rules and procedures. Of course your input is always welcome so don't hesitate to contact one of the BoD menbers (Mike McMasters, Eric Balicki, Steve Deiters) with any thoughts or suggestions.
Remember that Saturday April 26th is the awards banquet at Tom Thumb Hobbies in Columbus, OH. In addition to the awards and the food we will also be hosting our first "Mini-Enduro" . Bring an IRRA legal Can-Am or GT Coupe (100grams) car and be ready for a 15 minute per lane marathon. Entry fee will be $10.00 per driver which includes EVERYTHING including practice. The track will open at 9:00am and at Noon teams will be chosen based on those attending. Team captains will be decided by points from the season and they will pick team mates from the remaining drivers. The teams will have one hour to tune their car and at 1:00pm the Green flag will wave. Two hours later the first "Mini Enduro Champion" will be crowned and the season awards will be presented. Food will be served during the race. We will do our best to have you headed home no later than 4:00pm for those traveling any distance. If you did not participate in the ORS Kings of Retro series we will still try and fit you into one of the teams. It's all about having FUN!!
The BoD members and ORS series track owners wish to give you our sincere THANKS for your attendance in our series. We are all focused on and committed to giving you the best retro slot racing experience we possibly can in the hopes that, not just days later, but on the trip home you will say "Wow...that was a BLAST!!"
