The only commercial raceway in AZ is Cactus Hobbies. For sale.
There are many wood routed home tracks in the East Valley of Phx Metro. Don't believe there are any around Tucson as one of our club members, Rick Schonfeld comes up from Tucson about two times a month.

It is really sad that there is no commercial raceway in the Phoenix area. We have a lot of very good racers in this state. It would be nice to have a good king track, or a good road course. But instead we have to travel to California, or another state to race.

Here's some reasonable space if you're interested in starting a raceway

6000 sf for $999/mo. in Mesa on Main St.
I'll commit to half rent (rent only) and supply some tracks.
Electrical will probably run $1,300-1,800/mo during the six months of summer.

Ah yes, the Arizona sun. 110-120 degrees for about three months in a row and 95-110 the other three months.

The last track on Main in Mesa was Jack's Raceway, owned by Jack Higgins. Last race was a USRA race where locals (AZ racers) whipped the SoCal bunch soundly. Rude remarks by one of the SoCal guys about got him beaten up or worse except Jack had Mesa Police standing by in case two of us did not leave immediately after the race. AZ heat and AC costs are enough to sink a track but when the owner bans locals from his track for not paying him 40% of off-track sales it's a sure fire way to go out of business.
