Yes, we're still here and rolling along. This race was held on 03/29/2014; sorry for the late posting... better late than never. Here's a link to the report on the Texas slot forums:  http://excoboard.com.../151138/1980603

Tex, where is Yellow Cat Raceway located? It looks like a fun track to run on.

It's in Mineola, Texas. The track was built by John and Gwen Myers when they lived in Buffalo, Texas. They moved to Kerrville which necessitated selling the track. Moe Callison bought it and installed it in a building on his property. The track was originally called Buffalo Speedway and a sign with that name apparently was transferred along with the track itself.

Thanks Tex!  Does this track get the same group of racers  as that new roadcourse in Tyler does? I don't know the faces of many Texan slot racers, other than yourself & P.A. Watson. :)

Yes, the same group that races at Tyler races at Yellow Cat. Most of the "scale" racers in north Texas race at the following tracks: Yellow Cat Raceway(Mineola), Tyler Slot Cars(Tyler), Ranger Raceway(Garland), All Scale Raceway(Waxahachie). We also hold occasional races on the two commercial tracks in the DFW area... Dallas Slot Cars(Garland) and River Oaks Motor Speedway(River Oaks... soon to change hands and relocate to Ft. Worth, I understand).
