Since my beginning, in this hobby. I see  limits that should be considered  as new area classes.

What about motor classes combined from 1960 to 1968.  From these groups any 3. 5. o r 7 pole armature  would be legit. to modify

In brushes, rewinding awg wire sizes,  magnet enhancement, and gravity or digital balancer balancers.

lets call all this craftsman vintage era  kits or scratch  built

Clay, you come up with many interesting topics. Can you post some pics of the things you build or create?......

Clay,

Although I'm having some difficulty understanding what you're trying to get across, it's clear to me that your experience goes way back.

Your member name suggests (and please correct me if I am wrong) your interest is in motors and motor building.

My interests lie in all aspects of chassis design and construction, but I'm also interested in the history of motors.

Do you remember the Lindsey motors?  The 1010 or the L190?  They had skewed armature poles, and were apparently quite popular in drag racing prior to 1963.
