More proof that money can't buy class.

I don't always go the extra mile, but when I do it's because I missed my exit.
All my life I've strived to keep from becoming a millionaire, so far I've succeeded.
There are three kinds of people in the world, those that are good at math and those that aren't.
No matter how big of a hammer you use, you can't pound common sense into stupid people, believe me, I've tried.

A better question: is that any way to treat **any** car?
Many of you live in more rural areas than I. The array of giant-wheeled vehicles I see on a regular basis is amazing. Did you know there's places that'll **rent** wheels and tires like that???
My last time to the Goodyear store there was a (not kidding) 32" wheel with a mounted Pirrelli tire in the waiting room. It was a replacement for a customer who blew-out a wheel and tire in a pothole. The total for that wheel/tire replacement was $4000+... btw, with such giant rollers the Hummer didn't have much pulling-power so the owner spent another $25K for a turbo and other mods to the engine and trans.
I can't wait to see a Mini with 24"ers....

Having owned two British cars, it would seem that being able to easily climb under the car to effect repairs would be a practical modification.

I always wanted a set of 24.5s my self. For my 18-wheeler. Those were the best, usually tubeless with a 6200 lb. rating. Most of the time I had 20 inch junk with leaking tubes.
That first load in the morning, before the scale boys woke up, with 110,000 pounds sure would have liked the expensive stuff. 25.5 tire and steel wheel back then was 400 bucks but 18 would have been $7200, about what my truck was worth.. Hope those big debt days stay away from me. That's for young folks.
