Paul, I like the basic idea of this project. It's certainly original. I like your bundled exhaust pipes in the rear. Are those a model kit item, or something you scratchbuilt?

That is an original take on a Shinoda design.
 

How did you make the exhausts?

 

Only thing I see that might be handy to do is to narrow the front track.
Shorten the axle so that the front wheels do not stick out so much and thus are less vulnerable.

Stacks came from eagle Mpc kit. The track I make wide due to my short track. I tested it and it flys around the track with no slipping or sliding. Stright track in turns and likes the bank.
