Do you recognize them? *Not a test, just for fun.

That's thirty minutes away. I'll be there in ten.

This is an older video of a race car restoration shop in Indianapolis with several cars "in progress". I feel it's worth the time to watch.

I believe the Eagle-Offy featured in the video is chassis #7225 ex-Penske that is now owned by UMW and was shown at the 2014 Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance.

The first car I don't know, but it does appear to be powered by a turbo Ford four-cammer. With the square sides it could be a McLaren or early Foyt Coyote.

The second car is the supercharged Offy Lola T90 chassis driven by Roger Ward  in the '66 500 and he had won with it at Trenton the month before the 500 and then retired from racing after the 500. It was the team car to the winning Hill Lola T90 car which was powered by a four-cam Ford. I guess the team wanted to have all their bases covered in the engine department. The Ward car was eventually owned by the Walther family at one point and was converted to a turbo four-cammer Ford. It was subsequently wrecked by Sonny Ates (I think) and not rebuilt until this reincarnation in its original American Red Ball format of today. My preferred and favorite.

The third car by its livery appears to be the Bobby Johns team car to Jimmy Clark in 1965. I have read some accounts that this was also the STP #19 1966 car that Clark drove to second place and arrived at Victory Lane assuming he had won. The last time I saw it in was in the collection of Jim Jaeger of Cincinnati. He was the co-developer of the Escort Radar Detector. I was not aware that he may have sold it. Perhaps it is at this shop for service work.

As in all matters of vintage race car pedigree I'm going to defer to PdL.
