I'm not good at taking lot's of pics like some of our builders on here---but I though I"d post a pic of a new Can Am King Track car I'm working on!  It's a "Samson" inspired---Can Am version of his retro pro car!!! 3 rails of .055-- and a floating "body mount" with .032 rails down the sides!! It's VERY LIGHT--- AUW--is 82 grams RTR!!  This is the 2nd one I've built--the first ran good at the Zimmerman---but without a lot of testing on it--I ran a different car at the race!! But is showed enough promise that I decided to build another.

I'll post some comments when I test it in the next few weeks!

Enjoy

NO--it's an old piece that Chris Gallegos made at BPR!  I've got a batch of them still.  They are really nice and versitile -- I wish we could get more made. In ,040 and .030 thickness!! With this nose piece--you can set any guide lead you want.

This nose piece is what was left over from the M&M lot that Chris bought several years ago.

Hard to find but can be re-created like I do from scratch but without the coined guide tongue.

Allen Low used a lot of these M&M nose pieces on his Retro Pro chassis when he was racing.

Tim, Dennis built one of these in an inline form, you might want to contact him as he has already done some testing on his....

Thanks Mill, I had one at the Zimmerman---it worked pretty well--but since it was "untried" --I went with my more conventional race car!
