I would like a tire that would touch the track say a 11/16 dia...And only have a little over a 1/16 in width to play with....

I can't recommend any fronts for that chassis but would like to say that is a very nice looking car.

You don't say what size axle, how much front clearance, or what rules you are using.
Here are some options:

That looks like the 1/32nd scale Cheetah chassis if I'm not mistaken and you are using the two piece pan setup. I don't think you will find a set off 11/16 fronts that will work the way you want as the biggest that was made for that chassis was a 5/8 diameter, and they weren't made to touch the track. You may have to find a custom set. Most of us used .047 piano wire front axles on those.

If I can reme ber when I get home tonite, I will take a pic of my JK flexi chassis with front tires that barely touch the ground. These front wheels have a plastic 5 spoke center and come with either a 1/16" diameter hole or .047". I have purchased these wheels from Bill Pinch at his Melbourne, Fl slot car track.

JKP-8724 5/8" front tires....actually made for 1/24 flexi cars, but might be the ticket for your need.
So much DRAMA for such small cars....

Well this car is strictly to arouse interest in the new track I built....to draw the guys who race the plastic frame-magnet cars into other options and pull some of the king track racers into another realm.....I fiddled with it last night, I slotted the axle holes in the frame to drop the 5/8 tires I had on hand...I had to cut the back off the wheels to get then close yet they are still 3/16'' wide because of the inset....They push the wheel base out to 2 9/16'' and the body is 2 7/16 ....The frame really needs cut back and wheel mounts reconfigured.....All part of the fun of bringing cars back to look like scale cars.....

I believe you should also cut the motor shaft so the pinion fits down near the oilite. Then put the bottom of the motor all the way down against the side of the motor box-- this will give you best gear mesh and motor mounting point.
Nice looking little car!!
