Here's our 1/24 scale private club track - 82 feet, four-Lane roadcourse  The track is located a couple towns north of Orlando.  New racers and vintage aficionados wanted!

Vintage and modern cars... We test/tune Wednesday nights, races are Saturday nights. Hardbody Class Vintage races currently - and Parma FCR cars. Give me a shout via PM and I'll get you an invite!

Hi Dennis,

Footprint is somewhere around 12' x 18'? It was customized to the room - footprint triangular.

Very challenging to drive. Marshaling is kinda tough, timing is thrown off in many of the races when the power goes off due to crashes... :shok:  Our drivers are improving their skills, but nerfing is inevitable...

Great-looking track. I would stop by for a visit, but you are diagonally across the country from me.

It looks like a fast track: relatively large radius turns. The shoulders look a little tight, although I don't see a lot of scuffing on the sidewalls. What is the lane spacing?

Thanks, Tony and James - not sure about lane spacing, it's my buddy Garold's track, he is the first racer on left in video, Eric is the bald guy.

The track is as fast as you dare to go... kinda flat, quite twisty, and has 1,000 amps of 12v - motors rev up real good!

You will never hear anything more insincere than an apology for a nerf. :laugh2:

I raced at Garold's track last night and had a blast. No formal racing but we did have a few impromptu 30 lap races and a ton of fun. This track is actually quite fast and has a great rhythm. My Retro cars ran just fine and flexis run very well, too.

The biggest surprise of the night was when Garold brought out (are you sitting down?) some hardbody stock cars with Kemtron/brass tube chassis and Cox 36D motors. Sounds TERRIBLE, right? Well the trick was that they used true vintage Dynamic sponge rear tires which means these cars had very little rear grip which made for a true dirt track tail-out run. With three cars on the four lane track we had a great time sliding through the turns and racing fender to fender, it was AWESOME!!! Definitely one of the most realistic racing experiences I've ever had on a slot car track.

I would highly recommend Garold's home track in Orange City for an informal night of slot car racing and fun to any racers in the Central Florida area.

I must confess, Jay Guard can drive flat track, reeeely good!   :good:

He took to the track like no other guest before. Garold (track builder/owner) was giving it his all to trade that paint with Jay... need I say more...

Jay - please come back soon, I'll have some flexis tuned and waiting for you!
