The ECA Club (Electric Car Association), the oldest slot car club in Italy and perhaps in the world, has produced a limited edition slot car to commemorate its 50th year of continuous operation. Only fifty pieces are being produced.
The body is a 1970 Abarth Sport Spyder painted in the colors of the club: yellow and blue. The frame is a special SR One aluminum, gold anodized, while the mechanicals are from Slot.it. The scale is not mentioned, but my eye says it is 1/32.
Each model is numbered, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, and presented in a display case.
I have confimed with club official Franco Uliana that this car is available to non-members, but it is obvious that with such a limited number being produced few will be available. I have no pricing or shipping info, but PM inquiries to Franco (whose display name is Franco Uliana) will likely reveal those details.
