This was the night of the Steve Foster Birthday "Crash fest!" 
We had a good turnout with some of our racing buddies we haven't 
seen in a while (like Justin and Scott) and the track condition was ideal. 
AND Foster had new parts on the wall and in the counter! AND birthday cake!
 
GTS Race
 
We ran a 14 heat Round Robin. Dennis took first with a lead of 5 laps. 
I came in second. Mark had third. Earl had the fast lap time 
(his motor looks a little too fast to me :). 
Steve Foster had mechanical failure and DNFd.
 Returning racers Scott, Justin, Rich and Don turned in very good runs.

Retro Race
 
We ran a Crash and Burn, with some volunteer turn marshalling. 
Mark took first, with a lead of 16 laps. Steve Foster was second, 
with Dennis at third. Mark also had the fast lap, in fact his fast lap 
was quicker than his fastest GTS lap. 
 
I had completely rebuilt the rear end on my Dragonslayer chassis since
last week. Twice my car got slammed into the wall and the rear end got 
bound up. I lost at least three heats working on the car, but I did finish. 
I really need to reinforce that rear axle carrier.
