:laugh2:  Thanks Paul, and speaking of hauling beans, more weight in an IRRA® stock car never hurts.

My ol' 2009 Bill Worden/Rob Hanson tripod chassis needed freshening up so I built a ground zero 15 thou shaker platform for it.

.063 tubing governed with .020 piano wire. Some fore and aft movement, slight wiggle, slight lift, and zero droop.

No solid connection between the rails. Champion 7 gram weight attached via double sided wing car tape

Red Valantine still races his Snakebite Can Am chassis competitively but they are tricky to tune and that line sort of drifted off into history :)

Track test results with new shaker platform and weight: excellent, much improved.

John Clow's stock car chassis from 2014 recently returned to The Wolcott Ranch for a tune up.

 

-new rear axle tubes with new VXB ball bearings

-new front axle for new ARP BB front wheels

-addition of a 15 thou shaker weight platform

-revised pan down stop wires

-new pan hinge tubes
