Hi Jimmy,
Will we need to buy a pit pass?

what joe said, and yes there are lots of places to eat and several malls, and a minor league stadium that has fireworks every weekend (hv renegades), and about 20 minutes away is orange county choppers and their steak house.  lots to do

Is splashdown beach still open?

Rocking Horse ranch could be interesting for the kids, depending on their age

There is also the "walkway over the Hudson" in Poughkeepsie.  Pretty cool view of the Hudson river from way up high

if your family likes a little hiking, Bish Bash falls is about 1-1/2 hours away.  Very cool spot

If you like Mexican food, I highly recommend Café Maya.  Just a few miles from the raceway.  Plenty of the usual chain restaurants

Hey Jim just a question for ya after the experience at the Div 2 Nats in Philly? Will you have a way to except credit/debit cards during the weekend or will this have to be a cash only race? Really threw guys for a loop when they had to leave and search out a atm to get cash at the end of the wknd at the Nats.
