Picture Details: "Lego" Logan and Bud Greene after his Coupe race. Bud let us borrow the body and Logan had him autograph it. He was so proud of the body and gave dad detailed instructions that the Lane Sticker was NOT to cover the autograph.

On a quick look, Bud and Logan look like father and son.
I intend to live forever! So far, so good.

I’d like to add my thanks (and Joey’s, too).
Because of my work schedule I don’t get to attend any of these Retro races, but this was well worth scheduling the time off. I’ve always enjoyed the events at the Viper Pit in the past, and I wasn’t disappointed this time either. All the racing was great, and that B-Main Can-Am race was one of the most intense and enjoyable races I’ve ever had the pleasure to be a part of. I’ll definitely be looking forward to next year’s event. I would highly recommend it to everyone.
Thanks to Aaron and everyone at the Viper pit for letting us come and race there, Ralph and Grant for all their work making this event possible, and all the racers and everyone who came to make this a great time!

Rick, nice run for the weekend. I'm curious which frames were you running?

Bob, thanks for asking.
Greg took pictures of all the cars and should be posting pics of all the chassis in the future…
In GT Coupe I ran my 1233-Cc2, a 0.039” wire framed chassis, with a Puppy Dog and a Parma Lola T70 body. It’s an easy to drive car which I masterfully managed to screw up (especially on black braking, oddly, too soon into the deadman and way too conservatively on red) with my well-honed mediocre driving abilities.
In Can-Am I used the similar 1233-Cc3, the 0.032” wire version of the same chassis I used in GTC, with a Retro Hawk and a TrueScale McKee body (because I can get the same or better lap times as with any other body, and because it isn’t another friggin’ Ti22…), that’s just as easy to drive and even quicker. Unfortunately the R-Hawk (the only fast one of these I have found so far, geared 9:28, and first race for this motor…) lost brakes in the last heat on white and slowed down… I still can’t complain though… that was one A-class B Main, and I was pleased to be in it…
In F1 I used the A212-c2, a 0.039” wire framed chassis that’s an F1 adaptation of the 1229 design, with another P-Dog and Parma Matra body… Admittedly this was just an afte-thought to run for fun, just sort of stuck together… I should have put more effort into the set-up, but I’m basically lazy…

Definitely a tough B Main Can-Am (more laps than the A) . Great runs by you sir and you were rolling in everything.

LOL... loaded question.
A WrickWire chassis ain't something you get to see every or most any day.

I was aware Rick had made a road trip up to test at the track, and I know his chassis are a bit off the beaten track. I was not certain if the race coverage would allow me to determine which wire size and certainly not the wheelbase and RAX-GPC he decided to run.
Thank you, Rick, for the information.
