I found this oddity (or atrocity?) in a lot on eBay.
Somebody told me this could be a prototype: I'm rather convinced this was a scratchbuilder nightmare

Dynamic makes an in-line chassis for this GE Motor. But, this time, the builder forced the issue, installing the GE motor in a chassis designed for a 36d sidewinder.

The sidewinder chassis kit for the Dynamic/GE motor had the idler gear set-up.
I bet that car ran/runs pretty good. Compared to some 'nightmares' that one ... is almost a 'pleasant dream'.

The Dynamic sidewinder chassis for the GE motor with idler gear was a Dynoflex model, so this wouldn't be that one. It might be one of their chassis for the Kemtron or Pittman padlock type motors, cut down to fit the GE motor.
Stefano, Ezio used sidewinder GE setups for a couple years in Bordo and they ran very well. With the scale tires, you don't need to bother with the idler gear any more - that was done to race with tiny tires and still use a sidewinder setup.
Can't remember if Ezio used a modified GE/Dynamic chassis or another model.

Pretty sure that's the motor mount for the pittman 85 that someone's taken a file to.
The little strap of brass from the endbell to the body mounts is a nice touch...

Regarding another messed up Dynamic Chassis, any ideas on the best way to remove rust from this Dynamic chassis? Motor as well.
A Dennis Samson restoration on the rusted Dynamic chassis/GE motor combined with a nicely painted Jeff Bigelow Mustang body Thanks guys!
