I'm looking to do my first inline chassis (well... my first in a few decades anyway) and one of the cars that has always appealed to me is the Harvey Aluminum Special. Are these bodies out there? Anyone have any other F1/Indy type cars (pictures) they especially like that I can check out? Thanks!

Patto's Place is a good starting point for most bodies you can't find at your local track or at Electric Dreams.

You should have a choice of 1/32 or 1/24.

Patto's Place

Be aware they are usually PTEG plastic not Lexan. Paint accordingly.

I hope that Mr. Fiedler will tell us where he got his example.

A true vintage one from the House of Warmack, circa 1967:

Wow, Philippe... that's a beauty (and with my kind of motor to boot)!

Mike, that would be fine... I sent you a PM.

John, these bodies have a shorter wheelbase when compared to the other Indy/F1 bodies around. But they do look cool! :D

Hi Bill,

I agree about their look... wide, squat... cool. :D On the wheelbase, gotcha. That's why I would build the car around the body and motor (a big motor!).
